Disbursements
We will guide you in your arrangements so that costs will be within your means and that the service that you plan will be meaningful. Our aim is to help lighten the burden and improve the experience that you have when going through the difficult time of arranging the funeral of a loved one.
How much will the funeral cost?
A local funeral within a 35 mile radius of Castleblayney can cost from €2750 plus disbursements (the option is there for the family to take care of disbursements directly in agreement with management) and includes all of the following:

Preparation of the deceased.

Supplying a simple, dignified coffin suitable for burial or cremation (See Coffin Selection).

All professional fees, including arrangement co-ordination, consultation with family, hospital and/or coroner, crematorium or cemetery.

Obtaining and completion of all legal requirements.

Supply of a hearse, funeral director and bearers from place of death to place of service and immediately on to the cemetery.

Use of the Corrigans Funeral Home.
The average funeral can cost between €4k and €5k depending on coffin type, location and disbursements. Staff at Corrigans Funeral Home will work with the family of the deceased to ease the pain and suffering at this very difficult and sensitive time. We can offer professional advice and assistance on all aspects of the funeral including costs.
